The Museum of the Southwest offers an inspiring blend of art, culture, and science for students to explore. The expansive campus offers something for everyone in an exciting atmosphere. Our multidisciplinary facilities include the Blakemore Planetarium, the Durham Children’s Museum, and the Historic Turner Mansion & Fine Art Galleries. Additional attractions include the outdoor Coterra Sound Garden, Sculpture Garden, and playground.
 
To accommodate all class sizes and grade levels, we offer field trips during the morning (10:00-11:30) and afternoon (12:30-2:00) Tuesday-Friday.
