Having celebrated its 45th year in September of 2014, this annual juried arts festival draws artists from far and wide to display their works on the first weekend after Labor Day. Including a Friday night "preview party" and two days of art, live entertainment, festival food and a KinderFest area for kids, SeptemberFest has become the premier arts festival for West Texas and Eastern New Mexico.
Celebrate the birthday of the Museum of the Southwest by traveling back in time to the year the Museum was born—groovalicious 1966! Imagine Midland’s favorite art festival inspired by the music, fashion, slang and . . . all the great television shows that were a part of that decade. Are you feeling it? SeptemberFest 2016: Technicolor Flashback will take place September 9, 10 and 11 on the grounds of the Museum.
This year’s SeptemberFest weekend is made possible by the generosity of Mrs. Lissa Noël Wagner.
